Bella's second birthday is in less than three weeks, and we have NO clue what we're doing for her party. We've invited 11 children and their parents, along with some other friends of ours, so we have the potential for about 30 people in our house. I really hope it's a nice day outside! C. wants to get JoJo-themed or Elmo-themed crap like cups, plates, balloons, party favors, but I want to keep it simple. A couple of activities and a cake.
So, readers (all nine of you - I know there are nine of you now!), tell me, what did you did/will you do for your child's second birthday. And are we completely insane to have this many people over? Let the panicking begin now!

For my son's 2nd birthday party (2 weeks ago) we kept it very simple. We wanted to do a Pingu themed party, but no one even seems to know who the heck Pingu is, so we ended up with 2 stuffed Pingu's on the side of the cake & my son wore a Pingu t-shirt. Everything else was just bright & colorful. We kept the activities to a minimum - just swimming in the pool - and the party was more for the adults anyway. Good luck and have fun!
